The Li'l Ground-Hog Skid-Mounted Series.

Excavac Corporation was the first to introduce the Li'l Ground-Hog concept -a compact design for mounting on trailers or pick-up truck beds that incorporates a large dump hopper. It is ideal for less demanding needs such as curb box/valve box cleaning, light-duty "spoils" clean-up, and occasional 'pot-holing' applications.

This configuration combines heavy duty construction in a compact package designed to fit a standard pick-up bed or trailer. To satisfy the need for vacuum excavation equipment that is appropriately sized for the job, Excavac adapted its vacuum excavation technology resulting in a high volume, skid mounted industrial vacuum system.

The standard configuration includes a 1 cubic yd. capacity horizontal dump hopper with hinged end, electro-hydraulic tank dump, and a 4" inlet port. It is available in 20hp to 40 hp systems, and offers an optional electronic high liquid level shutdown.

The versatility of this unit makes it an economical means of curb box and valve cleaning, as well as an ideal unit for occasional 'pot-holeing' applications when used in conjunction with standard soil loosening air tools and compressor.

Unit features a 2 cubic yard hopper (500+ gallons); nominal 40 Hp vacuum system. The triaxle unit shown has a 200 gallon fresh water tank and high pressure (2200 psi) water wash system. Custom 12000 lb. GVW tandem trailer -all self contained. Includes our standard full-end-opening dump tank.
